Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Familiar (the "Service"), a productivity, habit, and wellbeing companion application provided by Familiar Habits.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy.

Familiar is for people aged 16 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 16.

To use most features of Familiar you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes attempts to:

• gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks;
• introduce malicious code;
• harass, abuse, or harm another person.

You retain ownership of the content you create within the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

We check your age when you sign up to confirm you meet our 16 and over minimum. We use your date of birth only to perform that check and do not store the date itself.

Familiar is free while in beta, and the Service may change as it develops. There are no paid subscriptions today. When paid plans are introduced, we will update these Terms — including renewal and cancellation terms — before anyone is charged.

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date and provide notice where required.
